The Apartment

A bright apartment in the heart of old Lagos.

A quiet apartment inside the old walls of Lagos, on a lane a short stroll from the squares, the market and the marina. Open the windows and the town drifts in — church bells, the clink of cups at a café, footsteps on cobblestone.

Two bedrooms sleep up to five — a queen, a full, and a sofa bed in the living room for an extra guest or a child. A bathtub to soak in after the beach, a full kitchen for slow breakfasts, air conditioning for the summer, and a washing machine so you can travel light.

Best of all is the outside. A private terrace and balcony catch the Algarve light from morning coffee to evening wine — somewhere to sit, read, and let the day go soft. The whole place is yours, and the sea is only four hundred metres down the hill.

"

We could walk everywhere — the market, the marina, the beach. The apartment was bright and the terrace was where we spent every evening.

"

Exactly where you want to be in Lagos. Quiet street, two minutes to the squares, and a kitchen we actually used.

Thomas
"

Spacious for five of us, spotless, and the bathtub after a day at Dona Ana was perfect. We would book it again.

Sofia
"

Loved waking up to the sounds of the old town and stepping out for pastries down the lane. The balcony view is lovely.

Daniel
"

Air conditioning made the August heat easy, and the washing machine meant we packed light. A calm base for the Algarve.

Claire

Comfortable, central, and genuinely quiet at night. Beaches, boat tours and restaurants are all within a short walk.

Your Host

Looked after, quietly.

The colourful streets and rooftops of old town Lagos

Your host lives close by and looks after the apartment with quiet care — keys ready, the terrace swept, and a few local tips left on the table.

Messages are answered quickly, and check-in is yours to take at your own pace. Ask about the best café for morning pastries, where the boat tours leave from, or which beach is calmest on a windy day — the kind of small things that make a week feel like home.

Good to know

A few thoughtful answers.

Check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. Your host will message you the day before with the address and arrival details, so you can settle in at your own pace.
The nearest cove, Batata Beach, is around a five-minute walk down towards the marina. The cliff beaches of Dona Ana and Camilo are about twenty minutes on foot or a few minutes by car.
Not for the town itself. The old centre, the market, the marina and the closest beach are all an easy walk. A car helps for day trips along the coast, but Lagos is wonderfully walkable.
Up to five, across two bedrooms — a queen bed, a full bed, and a sofa bed in the living room. The whole apartment, around 75 m², is yours alone.
Children of all ages are welcome. Please note that cribs and extra beds are not available, so do let your host know your group when you book.
It is a non-smoking apartment, and the home is not suited to parties or events. Otherwise it is a relaxed, quiet space to call your own for the week.
